GOODBYE NEW PLYMOUTH

What a busy week we have had! Moved out on Sunday and stayed with my sister, Gabrielle, until Wednesday when we finally left New Plymouth and Taranaki. We will miss New Plymouth and particularly the sea, not to mention our family and all the friends we have made since we arrived in 1987, but looking forward to a new phase of our lives - we will be back often. Monday I was busy attending to business matters and on Tuesday took my daughters, Paula and Justine to lunch following which Justine and I each had a lovely indulgent massage - a gift to each of us for our birthdays. Have been in Palmerston North, at Karyn's, since Wednesday and finally have everything in store, most of the last minutes chores done, such as paying bills etc. Final packing to be done and what we don't need to go into store but we can do that on Tuesday. The Dawn Princess should just about have left Sydney and all those embarking there have started their wonderful cruise around the world! We are looking forward to meeting all those lovely people we have met on Cruise Critic. Not long now, in fact, only three more sleeps!! Hard to believe it is really going to happen in just three days!!
