Another wonderful sea day

Monday 10th August – It really pays to get up reasonably early or exercise doesn’t get done – in the pool by 7.15 then shower and breakfast – this morning I joined Alice and Glen and Mason, who had had a bad night, slept in for a while. Glen, Alice and Mason next went to a lecture on the history of Bermuda – can be seen on our TV later in the day – I tried to sort out the uploading of photos to facebook – seems we have a problem with Active X – I’m sure I have been able to get multiple photos on in no time at home but it seems to only allow you to do one at a time here. Can anyone help? Choir practice going well and we have a Showcase again on Thursday with a fullbown concert before we reach Southampton. Another lecture, this time on New York and what to see there then we all went to a talk on the artistry of mime. How interesting, wish we had gone to his show. He showed us how to do a few actions – I swear we could see the wall he was climbing around! He is 62 and is so flexible. After that, Mason and I rushed off to see the afternoon movie “Slumdog Millionaire”- enjoyed it very much. Finished the day with a show after dinner – a standup comic – Tom Briscoe, American, OK. Time to go to bed and might get to finish my book.
