Tomorrow Bermuda

Tuesday 11th August – It was a stretch class for me this morning at 8am then I joined Mason at the gym for another ½ hour. Breakfast followed, then time to visit the library to change our books. Did some office work while Mason and Alice went to the lecture on Newport Rhode Island. Had to get some printing done at the Pursers office and talked again to Ben who did his training at PIHMS in New Plymouth. He actually lives in Palmerston North and used to swim with Karyn and Carl at Westend. He remembered that Karyn was pregnant at the time and I informed him that that baby (Liam) is now 12 – made him feel old he said. Choir practice – we are sounding quite good now- then a very long, lingering lunch talking to some very nice people from Brisbane - they were both scientists, now retired, and were really interesting – we have met so many people and all different and interesting in very many ways – met two men in their 80’s last night who just love cruising – one of them has done 42! By the time we left the buffet, it was time to go to the movie “Last Chance Harvey”- we had seen it before but good for a second time! Sat on the deck in the sun and read while Glen & Mason went to a get-together of boaties and yachties before joining Mike and Giovanna in their cabin for drinks and to swap some photos – they are leaving us in New York. Sat over our evening meal in the buffet tonight, decided not to attend a show. Here I am catching up on my blog and then to bed in preparation for going ashore tomorrow in Bermuda. We should have arrived this evening but our delay in Aruba has meant we will not be allowed to dock in Bermuda until it is light.
